This announcement concers all .ng domain names. We just received the following notification from the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA):
"
Dear Registrars,
It has come to my attention that some, if not all the domains status in the registry is now showing Delegated as opposed to Active status.
Please note that this does not in any way affect the actual domain and its functionality.
Our software vendor Cocca registry made the change but only informed us after.
For your information delegated just menas the domain has been delegated to NS
Sorry for the confusion. Please let us know if you have any issues with any domains as a result of this change in terms.
